Your size (not the one in the photo)

The same implant looks completely different on two bodies. Before talking about size there are three decisions, and all three depend on you.

1. 1Volume. Calculated from your chest width, skin quality and natural tissue.
2. 2Placement. In front of the muscle, behind it or in a dual plane. With little natural tissue, the muscle helps hide the implant’s edge.
3. 3Incision. Under the breast fold, around the areola or in the armpit. Each leaves the scar in a different place.

Five questions (to ask any surgeon)

Take them to your consultation, whether it’s with Dr. Manuel or someone else. If you don’t get clear answers, be wary. And if anyone guarantees a result or rushes you with a special offer, that’s a red flag.

A rested look (even after eight hours’ sleep)

1. 1Upper eyelid. Usually excess skin that drops over the eye. The excess is removed and the scar sits in the natural crease.
2. 2Lower eyelid. Usually fat bags. It’s a different operation, and sometimes the incision is made inside the eyelid.
3. 3Or it’s the brow. If the brow has dropped, the treatment is different. That’s why the first question isn’t the price, but which part is the problem.

Recovery is generally around one week. For men too: the aim is to look less tired, not “done”.

Your nose (in harmony with your face)

A nose isn’t big or small on its own. It depends on your chin, forehead, cheekbones and profile. Often a small change to the tip or bridge does more than making the whole nose smaller.

1. 1Aesthetics. Balancing your profile without erasing your features.
2. 2Breathing. A beautiful nose you can’t breathe through is not a good result. Function comes first.
3. 3An old injury. If your nose has become crooked or you breathe worse since a knock, the bone is repositioned and the septum corrected.

Same gym (a different shape)

Chest and waist are the two areas where the gym gets there last. It’s not a lack of effort: it’s where your body chooses to store fat.

1. 1Chest. The edge of the pectoral is defined following your own muscle. If it’s gland rather than fat, the treatment is different.
2. 2Waist. The flanks are slimmed to give the torso a V shape.
3. 3Natural results. An over-defined chest or an over-narrow waist gives the surgery away.

For men at a stable weight who already train. It doesn’t replace training.

Not for weight loss (it’s for shape)

Removes stubborn fat that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise and, if you wish, transfers it to the buttocks in the same procedure. For people at a stable weight. From €6,000.
